The Vital Nature Sign is a multidisciplinary conference for young and experienced scientists, built around exchange between fields rather than separation between them.
The mission
Meet across the boundaries.
VNS gives researchers an opportunity to present work, discuss difficult problems with experts from other fields, make new contacts, strengthen collaborations, and find partners for further investigation in Lithuania and abroad.
The series began in Kaunas in 2006 as the student conference “Where nature meets science.” It became an international meeting in 2007 and steadily broadened its institutional and regional participation.
The conference has included plenary and keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, multidisciplinary discussion, and a long-running internationally connected separation-science section.
